General Questions: Q - Do rentals include life vests? A - Yes, all rentals include safety equipment Q - If I have never paddled before is there a lesson I can take? A - Yes, all rentals include a basic lesson Q - Do I have to leave my vest on at all times A - Yes, we work in conjunction with the parks & rec division vests are required - If we are tagged with a ticket we will forward that ticket over to you. Q - Can my dog go on the board with me? A - Yes! dogs can go on the board with you, and we can provide dog vests as well (vests are limited) Q - Can my Kid come on the board with me? A - Yes you can have your kid with you Q - How young can my kid be on the paddle board? A - We start at 8 Years old and we'll assess kids that are younger Q - Can my toddler go on the board with me? A - Yes and we provide some Baby vests Q - Do you charge Per-Person or Per-craft? A - We charge per craft and two people can be on the same board Q - Do you have changing facilities and a restroom? A - Yes, we have a restroom and changing rooms Q - Can you store any sensitive or valuable items I own A - Yes, we can hold onto anything valuable or sensitive and put them away Q - Do you rent paddleboards at any other lake A - Yes, on occasion see booking schedule for other locations Q - Is there a military discount? A - We do not offer a military discount, but see military page for military programs Q - Do we have to transport boards to the lake A - No, We are located on site at the lake at the boathouse. Weather Policy: Weather in Colorado is crazy, so see below for common questions. Q - Do we provide refunds if weather is bad before arrival A - yes we provide 100% refunds to all rentals when the lake is closed due to weather Q - If weather comes in while we're on the water what's the refund policy? A - We will Prorate your rental as followed - We will Reschedule you for another day if you would like - If you were out for 15 minutes you will get a 100% refund - If you were out for 30 minutes you will get a 50% refund - 31 minutes or longer it is a reschedule for later in day or another day only (No refund issued) Q - What is the policy if lightning strikes nearby A - We follow the 10 mile radius rule, Lightning within 10 miles we pull everyone off the water and we let everyone back on after lightning is beyond 10 miles for more than 30 minutes |
